Road rage witnesses sought by police

POLICE are seeking witnesses to an incident of road rage on the A75 road between Gatehouse and Threave roundabout.

According to officers, at around 4.40pm on Monday, an east-bound grey BMW 320 was involved in a number of dangerous overtaking manoeuvres.

The male driver of the car then got out of his vehicle and remonstrated with another motorist when they both had to stop at a red light at temporary traffic lights at the Castle Douglas turn-off.

Witnesses who may be able to help should call police on 0845 600 5701.
