Pupils rise to a formidable challenge
Pupils from St Ninians Primary School in Newton Stewart spent two days at the Carlingwalk Outdoor Education Centre in Casltle Douglas lat week.The 10 pupils from primary 4 - 7 took part in orienteering and rock climbing in the Dalbeattie Forest and spent a cold , icy and misty day climbing Screel. Despite the weather the children and teachers enjoyed their outdoor experience and look forward to returning in the near future. Made it! . Pupils , staff and instructors at the top of Screel.
Pupils from St Ninian’s Primary School in Newton Stewart spent two days at the Carlingwark Outdoor Education Centre in Castle Douglas last week.
The 10 pupils from primary 4-7 took part in orienteering and rock climbing in the Dalbeattie Forest.
They then spent a cold, icy and misty day climbing Screel.
Despite the weather, the children and teachers enjoyed their experience and look forward to returning soon.
