Pensioner defends her actions over sea defences

A pensioner who faces a £400 bill from the council for protecting her home against the winter storms has spoken out at the local authority’s attitude.

Bridget Hillman from Ben Laggan on the shoreline at Monreith had to rush to repalce the sea defences decimated in the first tidal surge in January when the second surge headed her way in February.
