Man exposed himself in shop

A PENSIONER who exposed himself in a supermarket has been jailed for six months at Kirkcudbright Sheriff Court.

Samuel Young, 74, told a trial that he was unaware he was walking around Kirkcudbright with his genitals on display.

But Sheriff Kenneth Robb told Young, of Allanfield Drive, Newton Stewart, he didn’t believe his story that he didn’t know there was a hole in his trousers.

Young was found guilty of exposing himself after witnesses told how he was walking in St Cuthbert Street, Kirkcudbright, and in the town’s Co-operative with his genitals exposed.

Shocked shoppers and staff reported him and one man took a video on his mobile phone of Young leaving the store.
