Man admits stealing

Sentence was deferred for reports by Sheriff Kenneth Robb after a Wigtown man admitted stealing money.

Andrew Tait, 30, 18 Lochancroft Lane, admitted taking £60 from an address at the town’s Low Vennel between September 1 and 2. He also admitted being found at the same address with intent to steal on September 8.

The case will be called again on January 29.
