Ladies earn long service awards

At the recent Stranraer Marie Curie Fundraising Group AGM in North West Castle , Long Service Medals were awarded by Maureen Stevenson, Community Fundraiser for South of Scotland.

25 years: Diana Orr-Ewing, Olive Murray and Anne Downie

19 years: Elspeth Jamieson, Marianne Hall and Helen Dodds.

17 years: Christine Downie and June Ferguson.

12 years: Gillian Murdoch.

7 years: Margaret Lammie,Caroline McDowall, Fiona McColm, Marion Ford and Margaret McIntosh.

 

Office Bearers were re-elected for another year.

Chairman : Margaret Lammie

Secretary: Margaret McIntosh

Treasurer: Gillian Murdoch.

 

The following forthcoming events were discussed:

The Bi Annual Lunch will be in Portpatrick Hotel on Friday 1st February and tickets will be available from Leswalt Shop. The Daffodil Collection is to take place in Morrisons on 1st and 2Nd March.  The Curling Day in North West Castle is to be held on Friday 1st March, entries to Margaret Lammie.

17 years: Christine Downie and June Ferguson.

12 years: Gillian Murdoch.

Seven years: Margaret Lammie, Caroline McDowall, Fiona McColm, Marion Ford and Margaret McIntosh.
