Police Scotland’s Good Citizen 2014 winners from Stranraer, Rhins, Newton Stewart and Machars primary schools were recently rewarded with a day out at the Cocoabean Factory at Twynholm.

Two P7 children are nominated by their respective primary school for being a ‘Good Citizen’ and they attend an award night where a paragraph the child prepared is read out stating why they are a worthy recipient of the award.

The child recieves a medal and certificate.

The initiative is sponsored by DGHP and the children’s lunch is provided by Tesco, Stranraer.
