Dumfries andf Galloway College has set up a partnership with the IT Centre in Castle Douglas to offer a range of new digital skills courses.
The IT Centre has been open for a number of years offering short courses to individuals, community organisations and businesses, delivering a number of training opportunities and has re-established its partnership with the college.
A new programme of six-week courses are on offer. Choose from digital photography, make the most of your tablet, make the most of IT, stay connected and refresh IT, which are suitable for all abilities and are starting at the centre this month, running through to the end of July.
The courses are on offer at a reduced cost to the leaner and this has been made possible thanks to financial support from the college. The courses will all be certificated through the college.
Chris Fyles, IT Centre manager, said: “The Castle Douglas IT Centre is excited to resume our partnership with Dumfries and Galloway College and looks forward to introducing more low-cost training opportunities to existing and new learners.”
If successful, it is hoped to that the courses will continue in the long term. For further information, visit www.theitcentre.org.uk, contact Chris Fyles on 01556 503167 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
