Borgue Primary School has received a glowing report from HMIe inspectors who praised the quality of the school’s provision for pupils.
Allan MacMillan, Quality Improvement Manager for Dumfries and Galloway Council said: “Inspectors commended the way in which children were actively involved in their own learning, for example in making decisions about their learning and setting their own targets.
“Staff were praised for the level of support they gave children who needed extra help, and also for their partnership working with parents and others. A particular strength of the school was the extent to which staff evaluated their practice and planned for further improvements.
Education Services will continue to support the school in further developing its curricular provision for children.”
