Mystery still surrounds the disappearance of so many cats in Main Street, Port William.
Over the years six cats have vanished with only one every being found dead.
Last week we reported on the latest cat to go missing, Peplow. Camay Kelly’s cat was an expensive pedigree silver lilac Birman/Chinchilla, but more importantly, a much-loved pet.
Worried cat owners in the area have dubbed Main the “Bermuda Triangle for cats”.
Police are still investigating the case and if anyone has any information on Peplow or any of the other cats that have gone missing please contact the Galloway Gazette on 01671 404767.
