Books go on sale

Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Libraries, Information and Archives is holding a sale of redundant library books at Newton Stewart Library from now until Saturday, October 6.

There will be hundreds of volumes of adult fiction, non-fiction, children’s books as well as reference books at various prices, during normal library opening hours.

Book sales have proved very popular with local people and this is one is not to be missed. Whether you are interested in picture books for your children, large print for an elderly relative, something on gardening or just a good read, it will be well worth going along to check out what is on offer.
