Biking Rev off again

The Reverend Alex Currie from Whithorn is on his bike again, this time to try to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

On Monday, July 9 he will set off on a week-long, 440-mile trip which he is calling the “Three Saints, One Sinner” sponsored cycle. Starting on Iona (home of St Columba), he will cycle across Scotland to Berwick before crossing to Lindisfarne (home of St Cuthbert). From Lindisfarne, he will finish in Whithorn (home of St Ninian). And the one sinner? Alex says: “Just ask my wife and she’ll tell you who he is!” Sponsor forms are available at the Faith, Hope and Charity Shop or Galloway’s Grocers, Whithorn, or www.justgiving.com/alexcurriemariecuriecycle.
