Newton Stewart artist Davy Brown has donated one of his paintings to the NHS Dumfries and Galloway staff who helped him recover from a serious illness.

The stunning coastline painting was dedicated by Mr Brown “in grateful recognition of all the staff who saved my life and nurtured me back to health”.

The presentation took place in Ward 3 of Dumfries and Galloway Royal infirmary recently.
