Britain’s best loved antiques experts feature Dumfries and Galloway in next week’s series of The Antiques Road Trip.
In the new series, antique hunters Margie Cooper and Helen Hall join the much loved line-up of regular experts, Philip Serrell, Charles Hanson, Anita Manning, James Braxton, Charlie Ross, Paul Laidlaw, Thomas Plant, Mark Stacey and Catherine Southon.
This coming week (2-6 June), Mark Stacey and Catherine Southon set off on a Scottish road trip, starting off in Dumfries and Galloway and travelling through Ayrshire, Paisley, Glasgow, Dundee, Forfar, Inverurie, Aberdeen, Moray and Perth, before ending their journey at an auction in Edinburgh.
With a starting budget of only £200 each, the experts pair up for a scenic adventure through the Scottish countryside, visiting antiques shops and local areas of iterest, and exploring the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
