WIGTOWN author Tom Dingwall has just had his children’s stories book published.
Entitled “The Keekaboo Bird and other short children’s stories” the book is aimed at four to nine-year olds and is a story of five children who go and play in a magical forest where they find the Keekaboo bird who grants them three wishes.
The book also features the story of a small puppy who gets abandoned but finds happiness, and a third story of a little boy called Ewan who is whisked away into a magic dreamland of talking trees and wonderful colours.
Tom has used his grandchildren, Courteney, Paige, Brooke, Kian and step-grandson Charlie as the characters in the story. Also, Tom’s new grandchild Emma Dingwall came along four weeks ago so missed this edition but could always make an appearance in any future publications!
