New starters at Threave
New starters at Threave

Six new students have moved to the National Trust for Scotland’s Threave Garden near Castle Douglas this autumn as they embark on horticultural studies.

The students are undertaking the Trust’s one-year certificate in Heritage Gardening. They will live and train on-site, learning about different aspects of practical gardening and gaining hands-on experience in the cultivation and maintenance of the gardens and plant collections. The course welcomes students from all over Scotland.
