The Newton Stewart and Minnigaff Holiday Club is all set to return next week, keeping the area’s youngsters entertained with a week of fun and games.
The programme, brought by Penninghame and Monigaff Churches, will offer primary age activities every morning week of 10th-14th August, and something a bit different this year are the teenage activity evenings on Monday 10th and Thursday 13th.
Monday 10th August between 6.30pm and 8.30pm will see food, a chat and your chance to pose a few tricky questions to your local ministers. This event is free and aimed at p7 leavers and all secondary school pupils, and then the fun continues on Thursday 13th with a ‘Total Wipeout’ game aimed at the same age range. Be prepared to get wet!
This year there will also be a a closing service with a ceilidh for all the kids, families and congregations on the evening of the 14th. More details about all of these things are on the Facebook page: www.facebook.com/nsmholidayclub.
