The Biddulph Male Voice Choir will be perofrming in Newton Stewart next month.

The choir, formed in 1922 by brothers Ed and Tom Roberts, has a reputation for choral excellence and has raised thousands of pounds for charities both at home and abroad.

In competition the choir has gained prizes at such prestigious competitions as Llangollen International Eisteddfod, and contests at Blackpool, Nelson, Freckleton, Morecambe, Bourneville and Derby. In recent years however the choir has concentrated on concert work, undertaking a full programme ranging from small chapels to 1500 seat halls and the choir regularly appears at Southport Flower Show.

The choir will perform at Penninghame Church on 23 May. Tickets £10 from Inspirations, Day Centre or at door.
