Gatehouse concert

Gatehouse of Fleet Festival Group is presenting a Distilled Showcase - live music showcasing local talent, to be held on the evening of Saturday, February 23 in the Gatehouse of Fleet Community Centre.

The evening features Zoe Bestel, a singer, songwriter and musician who, within her first year has won admiration from the press, prestigious accolades and supported internationally acclaimed musicians.

As a songwriter, Zoë’s Nu Folk quirky storytelling style has been likened to Kate Nash, Eliza Doolittle and Lily Allen.

The editor of the Spectator, Toby Young is quoted as saying, “She’s destined for stardom.”

The Belted Blues Band playing a set list of “gritty underground blues classics”.

This band comprises local professional session musicians from Bladnoch’s Unit 7 studio.

Steve Dowling and the Obliviates “ are a six-piece who hail from Galloway, South West Scotland.

Based around the brilliant songs of Steve Dowling and delivered in a gruff, soulful way. The Obliviates pack a mighty punch!”

Susi Woodmass sings her heartfelt songs about the highs and lows of life, how she sees the world, sometimes quirky and heartfelt, always redemptive.

Gatehouse Music Group is proud to present this great line-up of music and all who come along with have a wonderful, fun evening!

Doors open 7.00pm. Tickets price includes soup and bread both home-made. Under 18s £6, under 12s free-entry. Bar and raffle.
