SUPPORT for the Royal wedding is flying high in Galloway with street parties and themed windows cropping up in its towns.
The Paul Jones Bakery in Kirkcudbright, along with baker Graham McLachlan, introduced a new line in cupcakes to mark the occassion and as you might expect, they are selling like ‘hot cakes’!
Newton Stewart taxi driver Gerald Hannah has adorned his cab with Union Jacks Ready for the big day and will most definately be watching the wedding on the telly, whilst Harry benewith, Minnigaff, made sure his support was known by decorating his house.
Pupils in the area’s schools spent the day out in the sun enjoying a wee spot of lunch surrounded by royal bunting and watching royal wedding re-enactments.
Good luck to Will and Kate!
