Galloway indie act Finding Albert are gearing up to play at the Millennium Centre in Stranraer next Friday (October 4).
In March 2013, Finding Albert released their album Feints - follow up to their eponymous debut album, and the ‘Life & Times’ EP in 2012. With a long-anticipated return to their home region, they packed one thousand fans in to the launch show in Dumfries.
This will be their first headline show in Dumfries and Galloway since that show.
The band came out of nowhere in 2012 to become regular festival performers, gaining major supports, radio and TV appearances, and most importantly, the building of a passionate and vocal support.
The band are currently undertaking their UK and European dates for 2013. The new album attempts to capture the energy and intensity of the live show, whilst retaining the musicianship and detailed arrangements that have won them so many followers to date.
The band recently played at Stranraer’s Park Fest and were blown away by the reception - and so are delighted to be returning to the town so soon.
Supports come from Northern Irish indie group The Late Twos, who have had great success in the last year, and Scottish rocker Cammy Black.
