Following on from a sponsored walk in the summer, the Isle of Whithorn-based Kayleigh’s Crew held a charity dance in

Wigtown’s County Buildings on Friday,

raking in more than £3300 for CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland). Friends and family of local lass Kayleigh Lewis, who suffers a rare disease called

Sanfillippo, rallied to raise the cash after the charity gave the family so much support. Her mum Tracey said: “It was a fantastic night and support locally has been incredible.”
