£2000 stolen in yard break-in

Police Scotland in investigating a break-in at a business in Dalry, Castle Douglas over the weekend.

Sometime between Saturday 10 and Monday 12 June 2017 the premises at Grennan Yard in Dalry were broken into.

A laptop computer, cans of fuel, two water pumps and hand tools were all stolen in the theft. The value of the stolen property is in excess of £2000.

Constable Courtney Richards at Castle Douglas said: “We are keen to hear from anyone in the village who may have seen or heard anything suspicious over the weekend. It is clear that a vehicle must have been involved in this theft. Callers should call us at Castle Douglas on the 101 number.”
