A group of ladies in Creetown are doing there bit to raise awareness of dementia by making quilts that will end up covering the pitch at Hampden Park.

Margaret Simpson, Ishbel Murray, Elizabeth Ray, Janette Lupton and Anne Sidebottom are sewing the quilts as part of the Alzheimer Scotland ‘Yes we can - Together’ project that aims to create 5,000 quilts that will be spread out over the playing surface at Hampden in Glasgow in the Spring of 2013.

The quilts will then be photographed from the air and then auctioned off and adopted by car homes throughout Scotland.
