Creetown Nursery decided to have a Harvest collection in school recently to gather items for passing on to help other people.

Pupils were asked to bring one food item per family to donate to the The Machars Churches Basics Bank which aims to provide practical help to individuals and families in need by giving emergency food supplies and other helpful essentials.

The nursery, with help from the school, collected lots of food essentials which will hopefully help lots of families. The nursery invited Reverend Farmes in to collect all of the donations who was very impressed and he said it would make a difference to many families.
