Council wants to know how safe you feel

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking your views on the safety of the region.

The Community Safety Partnership wants your views on what issues affect you, what the priorities for community safety should be and how we can improve the overall service locally.

You can have your say on this important issue by completing an online survey at www.dumgal.gov.uk/consultations or at your local Library or Customer Service Centre.

Councillor Tom McAughtrie, Chairman of Community and Customer Services Committee commented: “I would encourage everyone living in the region to take up this opportunity to have their say on what community safety issues affect them in Dumfries and Galloway. This local knowledge and insight is really valuable to us and we will use this and statistical data to inform future community safety work across the region.”

Your opinion is valued and the results of the survey will be used by the Community Safety Team and partners of the Community Safety Partnership to identify areas for improvement throughout 2015.

You can complete the short survey online until 23 December 2014.
