October 26 is another “must” Mill Sessions date for the diary. Cole Stacey, along with multi-instrumentalist Joseph O’Keefe, will be performing an acoustic set at the Mill on The Fleet in Gatehouse, bringing us an evening of “Quality musicianship and passion in equal measure”.

Acoustic Magazine describes his music as “heartfelt lyrics, distinctive and soaring vocals, high quality compositions”. With a delightful manner he is described by Steve Knightley (Show Of Hands) as “An impassioned young songwriter”. As a result of his rapidly growing reputation he has opened sell-out shows for award winning acts such as Midge Ure, Hayseed Dixie, Cara Dillon and Martin Simpson and has had continued airplay on BBC Radio and elsewhere. He is currently performing shows throughout the UK alongside instrumentalist Joseph O’Keefe. Check him out on colestacey.net. Show starts at 7:30pm, tickets are £8 on the door or bookable from the Mill on The Fleet: www.millonthefleet.co.uk.
