SORBIE Tower was the key stop on a tour of Galloway by 36 Norweigan visitors on Tuesday.

The Petterson group who had a grandmother who was a Hannay, decided to make the journey to honour her ancestry.

They visited the tower where they were met by members of Clan Hannay before also stopping off at Bladnoch Distillery - upon request of most of the group!

They stayed in Portpatrick and happily spent their holiday touring Bonnie Gallowa’.
