THIS weekend saw the 49th Annual Gathering of the Clan Hannay at their traditional seat of Sorbie Tower.

The 65 Clan members who attended the Annual General Meeting on Saturday morning came from across the world, with delegates from America, Canada, Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, Northern Ireland and England. Following the AGM, Clan Chief, Prof David Hannay, led a parade to Sorbie Tower for the Gathering which was then followed with a Dinner and Ceilidh at the Creebridge House Hotel. On Sunday the Tower was opened to the public to see the restoration work which has been carried out.
