Come on Ayrshire, help get her out!

South Ayrshire Cats Protection are seeking a forever home for Baby, a pretty 13-year-old female tabby. Baby came to us several months ago now, when her elderly owner became too ill to care for her, and despite several appeals no-one has come forward as a potential adopter! Baby is one of the most easy going cats we have come across - a lovely lovely girl with great character. She could live with other cats or animals, and can be happy in a household with children, as long as she can get her own space and access to the garden once settled in. Many people overlook older cats but with appropriate care (which Cats Protection are always happy to advise on) cats can live into their 20s so plenty of life left in them yet. they can often be an easier addition to the household and less demanding or damaging than a kitten or younger cat. Unfortunately Baby suffers from a thyroid problem which is well controlled with 1/2 a tablet every other day in her food - she is quite happy to be medicated - if only all cats were so easy! Cats Protection will pay all Baby’s thyroid related vet bills for the remainder of her life, but we must stress she has a FULL clean bill of health in every other aspect. baby has been neutered. micro-chipped and vaccinated as with all Cats Protection Cats. If you can offer Baby love and companionship, please ring our office on 08453 714216.
