Care home staff receive awards

Staff at Stranraer Belmont House Care Home were presented with awards on Friday during National Care Home Open Day.

Local MP Russell Brown was on hand to present staff with their awards as follows.

William McNally: for dedicated service to Belmont House and never being known to say “no”; Patricia McCreadie: for attaining her SVQ Level 3 in social care; Marie Shaw: for attaining her SVQ Level 3 in social care; Elizabeth (Betty) Graham: for long and dedicated service to Belmont House and turning her hand to any post in a crisis – domestic, carer, cook.
