In a spirit of co-operation, two community groups recently played their part in making our coastline a little more pleasing on the eye for this season’s visitors.

On Saturday, March 8, the boys of 1st Whithorn Boys’ Brigade, with the assistance of parents and friends began a litter pick along the shore at St Ninian’s Cave. The task was completed the following day by members and supporters of the Whithorn Business Association.

Thanks to Mr Johnston–Stewart for the use of quad bike and trailer and Dumfries and Galloway Council for refuse sacks and gloves.
