A crowning day for Lizzie at Creetown gala

Creetown Gala Week came to a close on Saturday 8th August after a fun packed week of activities.

The sun finally came out for the crowning of the new Gala Queen Lizzie Williams from retiring Queen Kayleigh Ross, Along with attendants Camryn White and Willow Pilcher and page boy Ruan Cuthbertson.

Lizzie was crowned by Alastair Barnett.

There was entertainment throughout the day from Road Runner, Paula Herries’ Highland Dancers, Pipers and live music from Eastwood. One committee member, Graham Munro, also volunteered to have his head shaved raising money for Cancer Research UK. A great day was had by all.
