FOR the past three weeks Zoe and Jack Halliday have been entertaining packed audiences at this year's Edinburgh Military Tattoo along with their school pipe band.
Eighteen-year-old Zoe and Jack (14) attend Queen Victoria School in Dunblane where Zoe is the Pipe Major of the band and Jack is a Highland dancer.
They pair have also performed at Military Tattoos in Canada and Switzerland but taking part in Edinburgh has been a real highlight for them both.
Proud parents, Andy, a WOI in the Army Physical Training Corps, and Cindy, are both originally from the Machars. Grandparents Frew and Nancy Hornell live in Newton Stewart and John and Mary Halliday, originally from Sorbie, now live in Dumfries.
The Edinburgh Tattoo will be shown on BBC 1 tomorrow night (Saturday 23rd) so look out for the youngsters.
