Man crushed under caravan
A MAN was airlifted to Dumfries and Galloway Infirmary last Thursday after becoming trapped beneath a caravan at Sandhead.

The man was freed by emergency services who found him just after 4pm at Sandgreen Caravan Park, Gatehouse.

Two appliances from Gatehouse and Kirkcudbright were sent out as well as station manager from Stranraer, paramedics, police and a doctor.

It took 12 firefighters 45 minutes to free the man using lifting equipment and he was immediately airlifted to hospital in Dumfries.
