Youthbeatz looks for volunteers

2016 will once again see Youth Beatz take place and this year organisers are looking for young volunteers.

Thousands of young people are again expected to flock to the Dock Park on Saturday 13th August to attend Scotland’s largest free music even.

Local youngsters are invited to come along and get involved as Event Volunteers. There are lots of exciting opportunities to suit everyone and these can be tailored to the individual’s skills and talents.

Event Volunteers are seen as an integral part of the delivery of the award winning Youth Beatz, Youth Beatz fringe and new for 2016 ‘The Toon’. Youth Beatz is now in its 8th Year and without the dedication, commitment and hard work from Volunteers over the years, it would not be the success it has become. In the days and weeks leading up to Youth Beatz and on the days of events, we have a high number of volunteers who give up their time to come and help. Last year saw over 100 volunteers involved between Youth Beatz, Youth Beatz Fringe and The World of Wonka.

Volunteers gain Relevant work experience, A Uniform, Travel expenses (where applicable), Free Training, Guaranteed personal references and two free tickets to Youth Beatz for Friends/Family.
