Wigtown Community Festival gets underway

The Wigtown Community Festival started in earnest last Saturday with the fancy dress and the crowning of the Wigtown Princess Lorna Cannon.

The heavy rain meant that both the fancy dress and the crowning ceremony happened in the County Buildings this year, but there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the spectacle.
