What a lovely afternoon Portpatrick Primary School P1-4 had at Dunskey Gardens!

One of the school’s P1 pupils, Ava Lily’s parents (Mr and Mrs Orr-Ewing) invited the class up to pond dip. The pupils were accompanied by Ruby’s dad and Max and met there by Gabby, David, Charlene and Ava Lily’s mum, dad and her younger brother Atticus.

The children had the most wonderful time. When pond dipping they found Water Boatmen, a frog, Pond Skaters, Damsel nymph flies and caddis fly larvae and they learnt lots about the wildlife and plants to be found around a pond. It was a wonderful way to spend a Friday afternoon and everyone had a great time. The school want to thank the Orr-Ewings for the invite!
