Orphan Annie breaks hearts and box office records

Stranraer Drama Club recent production of Annie in the Ryan Centre drew record breaking crowds over the four days of the hit show.

The star of the show was 12-year old Robyn Munro, who dazzled as the feisty orphan who tried to run away. Other notable performances were Michele Keenan as Miss Hannigan; James McQuillan as Oliver Warbucks and Neve Kinahan as Grace Farrell.

Around 1000 people turned up to watch the amateur production and as a reward for such a fabulous show, the cast are going to the King’s Theatre in Glasgow later in the year to see the show from the audience instead.
