Kirkcudbright Primary School has won five awards in a “multicultural society” competition across the region.

The P2/3 winners were presented with their award by Jetta Baillie from the organising group Dumfries & District Trade Union Council for Yes to Diversity No to Racism event and Yen Hongmei Jin, the Projects Coordinator for Dumfries & Galloway Multicultural Association.

The P7 winners were Amy Jones and Zoe Baillie; the P6 winners were Emmanuel Nicolas, Maisie Anderson and Sandy Grieve; the P5 winners were Lewis Valentine, Reagan Graham and Murray McFadyen.
