Newton Stewart-based solicitors McCormick and Nicholson recently announce the retirement of Mrs Moira McCulloch as Executry Manager after a period of service of 32 years with the firm.

Senior partner Veronica Love said: “On 26th June the partners of McCormick & Nicholson Solicitors in Newton Stewart got together with their associated firms Smith & Valentine in Girvan and Galloway & Ayrshire Properties Ltd at the Creebridge House Hotel to mark the retirement of Mrs Moira McCulloch as their Executry Manager in Newton Stewart, after 32 years of service.

“Moira had joined the previous firm of McCormick & Nicholson in 1983 and became Executry Manager when Stewart Sheddon and Neil Bruce took over the Firm in 1992. Whilst sorry to see her go, her colleagues wished Moira all the best for a long and fulfilling retirement, packed with walking, gardening and travel to the few remaining of Scotland’s remoter corners that she and her husband Tommy have not already visited, to name but a few of the activities Moira had planned.”
