The Galloway Miniaturists group is exhibiting the fruits of years of labour in Stranraer Museum over the Christmas fortnight.

From tiny of market stalls to whole streets, visitors will marvel at the amazing workmanship.

This is an enchanting exhibition for all at this magical time of year.

The exhibition is open free of charge from December 20 to January 5.

On Friday, December 28, Stranraer Museum is offering a mini workshop on candle making. Morning sessions between 11.30 and 12.30, afternoon session between 2pm and 3pm. No need to book.

Stranraer Museum is open: December 24, 10-1; December 27 and 28, 10-4; December 31 10-1.
