Awash with cash!

Port William’s volunteer inshore rescue crew were at Sands of Luce Holiday Park, Sandhead, recently to collect a donation of £1600 from Janet Gibson.

Janet, who lives in Maybole and has a holiday caravan at Sands of Luce, has been a regular fundraiser for PIRSAC for many years, running raffles, bingo sessions and other events through the summer. Expressing his gratitude for the donation, George McKenzie commented that without the unstinting help of people such as Janet and the generosity of the regular holidaymakers at Sands of Luce, it would be difficult to keep the lifeboat afloat.
