The ‘Willing to Help’ charity scheme currently underway at Newton Stewart solicitors McCormick and Nicholson will continue until the end of the month.

If you make a will at McCormick and Nicholson’s during March you will not be charged but asked to donate to the League of Friends of Newton Stewart Hospital.

A spokesperson for the firm said: “To raise as much money as possible for the League of Friends of Newton Stewart Hospital this March we will draw up basic wills without charge, and instead ask clients to make a donation to the League of Friends fundrasing appeal. The suggested donation is £90 for a single will, £150 for a couple making ‘mirror wills’ of £45 for a codicil to a will.”
