There was a full house for Wigtown talks and walks group’s last talk of the season.
Maggie gave thanks to all members involved in organising the talks, refreshments and administration. Tony had a few words about the forthcoming walks which commence on Tuesday April 5th.
He assured the group the weather would be as good as it was the afternoon of our final presentation.
Peter Norman is a Biodiversity Officer for Dumfries and Galloway Council.
He made a welcome return to the group and his talk about the History of Bogs, People and Wildlife in Galloway was interesting and informative.
It has been an excellent season for talks and we look forward to visiting some interesting places on our walks.
