A Galloway playwright is in the running for a top award.
A painter from Dumfries and Galloway is helping aspiring artists to explore the creativity inside them.
Peter Marinker, one of the best known voices on BBC radio, will be appearing at the Dumfries and Galloway Festival’s Big Lit Day on June 2 in Gatehouse of Fleet.
An exhibition of paintings by Suzanne Stuart Davies and Malcolm Davies is being staged at Designs Gallery in Castle Douglas from May 18 to July 13.
