Crossmichael Drama Club are performing their first full-length play since winning Sky Arts ‘Nation’s Best Am’ Dram’ in 2012.
The club also came first and second and had the highest production marks in the 2014 Stewartry’s SCDA competition performing Tenessee Williams and Caryl Churchill plays.
Their latest play is called Duets by Peter Quilter. From the present to the past and the future this touching three-act comedy explores a range of relationships with humour at it’s heart: Act 1. Secretarial Skills with Tommy Thomson and Helen Fox, Act 2. The Holiday with Christine Burns and Codge Crawford, and Act 3. Bride-to-be with Derek McCartney and Cath Monk.
They perform at The Fullarton Theatre in Castle Douglas on Thursday the 20th and Friday the 21st of November, 7:30 curtain up. Tickets available at the door.
