The Clydesdale Bank held a successful evening fashion show and chocolate demonstration at the Cocoabean Company at Twynholm last week which raised over £1000 for the Help the Hospice charity, a total match funded by the bank.

The event was organised by the Business and Private Bank of Clydesdale Bank as part of the Business Week held by the Bank.

David Hannon, the Clydesdale Bank’s head of agriculture on the UK opened the evening. Also there were Eileen Hornell, the

Senior Agribusiness Manager covering Dumfries and Galloway, Helen Mitchell, Senior Agribusiness Manager who covers the Borders and small business managers Susan Johnstone and Karen Nicholson who cover Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders.

Over 150 ladies enjoyed a demonstration on how to make Easter eggs from expert chocolatier Claire Beck from the Cocoabean Company which was followed by a delicious finger buffet and a display of the latest fashions from Panache of Castle Douglas.

A raffle on the night raised the funds for Help the Hospice.
