Max is looking for a loving home
Max is looking for a loving home

Meet Max ! He’s ten years young and deserves the chance of a lovely home.

Max hasn’t had it easy as on two different occasions he has had loving owners who sadly have gone into care facilities so Max has been left pining for his companions.

Initially he was rehomed with his sibling, who later passed away so Max has experienced loss in his life, far too many times. He may be a little shy or hesitate to build up that bond initially but when he gets used to you, he is a lovely friendly boy who has lived with other cats and a dog. He’d be fine with older kids too. Max would like out for a wander once he’s settled in a new home. Older cats are often overlooked in favour of younger cats but there are many advantages to rehoming an older cat, especially if you are a first time cat owner. They tend to be settled characters who won’t demand as much of your attention or destroy your house like a kitten will! Max has been thoroughly checked over by a vet and is in excellent health. He’s neutered, up to date with vaccinations, microchipped and comes with four weeks free insurance. He just needs someone to love! If you can be that life long companion for Max, leave a message for South Ayrshire Cats Protection volunteers on 03453 714216.

Many of the kittens born in Spring this year should by now have been neutered, but if you haven’t got round to it yet, we can provide a voucher towards the cost at the vet of your choice. Sadly there are far too many unwanted cats in the area, and its a struggle to care for them all. One unneutered cat can produce thousands of descendants in just a few short years so please, do YOUR bit to make sure every cat has a loving home, and neuter your cat.
