Meet Bob the Cat!

He is a beautiful big black cat, around three-years-old. We can’t be more specific as poor Bob has been homeless for three months, although he started receiving regular food shortly before coming into care. As you can see, he now looks the picture of health. Bob is very, very friendly to humans, including the smaller variety but not so keen on other cats and dogs. Bob would very much like access to a nice garden and plenty of fresh air. He is neutered and after a full health mot is vaccinated and microchipped and just waiting for a home to call his own. Our adoption fee is £50 to help cover these health costs and is payable after a successful introduction to Bob, and a satisfactory home visit.

South Ayrshire Cat Protection were very lucky to be at the launch of Asda Girvan’s Community Project. We are one of the three nominated charities and at the end of the month, depending on the number of votes from Asda customers, we will receive a cheque for £25 or £100 to help us continue our work. £100 would help us neuter five cats so would make a difference to the homeless kittens and cats in the area. When you pass through a checkout, make sure you ask the operator for your green token and pop it in the Cat Protection box on the way out of the store!
